LISA GIACCHINO
LISA BRINGS A WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE TO MINI MOZARTS. SHE ACHIEVED DEGREES IN PSYCHOLOGY, SOCIOLOGY, AND SPECIAL EDUCATION FROM GRAND VALLEY UNIVERSITY IN MICHIGAN. HER PREVIOUS TEACHING EXPERIENCE INCLUDES THE WALDORF SCHOOL. SHE IS ALSO THE DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION AT BIKE CLARK COUNTY, WHERE SHE TEACHES BIKE SAFETY AND LEADERSHIP COURSES TO TEENS. SHE ENJOYS ENCOURAGING CREATIVITY THROUGH PROJECT-BASED PROCESSES THAT HELP STUDENTS LEARN IN A MEANINGFUL, ENDURING WAY.
PROFESSIONALLY, LISA WORKED AS A COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATE, OR CASA, TO SUPPORT WOMEN AND CHILDREN SURVIVING DOMESTIC ABUSE SITUATIONS. HER EMPATHY AND PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS ARE GREAT ASSETS TO THE MINI MOZARTS FAMILY.
LISA ENJOYS SPENDING TIME WITH HER HUSBAND AND TWIN MIDDLE SCHOOLERS. THEY CAN OFTEN BE FOUND HIKING, CAMPING, ROCK CLIMBING, AND CYCLING. SHE ALSO ENJOYS CREATING VISUAL ART USING VARIOUS MEDIA.
